This is for people writing academic or academically related work which is planned for publication. This would include such things as journal articles, Master's and Doctoral dissertations and research proposals for degrees or grants. We normally work with groups of around 10 and the sessions are highly interactive so that everyone gets to participate and develop skills around both writing and critical thinking.
It is often useful to carry out workshops over three days (or two and a half) to allow a group to begin to work together. It is not necessary that all participants are from the same field of enquiry or even faculty and in fact diversity of the group often makes for a much more interesting and useful workshop
NB. Work relating to nonhuman animals. People writing or carrying our research in the area of nonhuman animals and rights/ethics/philosophy/ social studies etc often find it difficult to get the academic assistance they need and we are willing to offer support wherever we can
